Inclusion and Diversity Day

Come and join us for our first Access the Dales event, run in cooperation with the Westmorland Dales Landscape Partnership and Kirkby Stephen Tourism . Our first event outdoor event is an inclusion and diversity day, to be held on the 3rd April 2022.

Families and friends are welcome to join us for a day of outdoor activities, including a short stile free walk, forest school activities in the woods, arts and bushcraft, camp fire signed singing and of course, cake and tea!

There will be activities suitable for the young and not so young, with plenty of opportunity to try out new skills, make new friends and just enjoy being outdoors.

The hub for the event will be held at the Engine Shed at Pennine View Caravan Park. The caravan site and Engine shed both have accessible toilets but we will also be providing a mobiloo for the day.

You can come and stay over at the caravan and campsite, where there is accessible shower and toilet facilities (book directly with Pennine View).

The event is free but please book tickets so that we know how much cake we need to provide!

Please wear outdoor clothing and bring a packed lunch. We will provide tea and cake.

All the activities will be wheelchair accessible and suitable for manual wheelchair users. Please let us know if you have other specific needs so we can make sure everyone has a perfect day.
