We are thrilled that Paul and Andrea Dixon at Rakehead Farm are the Access the Dales hosts for our Nateby Hub. Located just inside the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this hub provides a fantastic opportunity explore the fells by using a TerrainHopper Overlander 4Z. Enjoy breath-taking views of Wild Boar Fell and the North Pennines. On a clear day you can see right over to the Lake District.

What is the Cost?
We don’t ask that you pay a fee for your trip because we want to reduce the barriers for people to access the outdoors. However, if you have enjoyed your trip you can leave us a donation to help support us at Access the Dales to continue to develop the HUBS around the Yorkshire Dales. To help make the inaccessible accessible for more people donate using the link below:
Additional Information
From Rakehead Farm our route follows the road up the fells, before turning onto a rugged track that leads onto open access land. The walk takes you to the old kiln and from here you get 360 degrees breathtaking views.

If you prefer a lower level walk, then enjoy a ramble through the quaint village of Nateby and onto the Skenrith bridge to take the track along the disused railway. This stile free walk is a one for lovers of nature. The area is home to the red squirrel and, if lucky, you may catch glimpses of the Roe deer.
